Our Bachelor student Paul Faller was awarded the Bachelor thesis prize of the Society for Operations Research (GOR e.V.) for his thesis in the winter semester 2024/2025. In addition to the top grade, he received the honour for his outstanding academic achievement.
In his thesis, Mr Faller dealt with the multi-depot route planning problem to reduce CO₂ emissions. He developed mathematical optimisation models for the efficient route planning of service providers, taking ecological criteria into account.
The award includes a certificate and a one-year membership of the GOR free of charge. We would like to congratulate Paul Faller on this outstanding achievement and well-deserved recognition!
