Bachelor Thesis Award for Alexander Heinze

Bachelor's student Alexander Heinze received not only the top grade but also the Bachelor Thesis Award of the Society for Operations Research (GOR e.V.) for his outstanding thesis on the planning of charging infrastructure on airport aprons, which he wrote at our institute in the summer semester of 2024. His research uses mathematical optimisation models for the efficient placement of inductive charging technology for apron vehicles at airports. The award includes a certificate and a one-year free GOR membership. Congratulations on such a successful thesis!
