We warmly congratulate our colleague Dr Martin Klingebiel on successfully defending his doctoral thesis. He received the highest grade of “summa cum laude” for his work on tactical maintenance planning for wind turbines, in cooperation with the Nordex Group.
Martin solved the complex planning problem by developing a mathematical optimisation model and a solution using a branch-and-price algorithm.
He is now moving to EEW Energy from Waste GmbH as a quantitative analyst. We would like to thank Martin for the great time we had working with him, we will miss him in the team and wish him all the best and every success in his future career in energy trading!
