From September 2024 to February 2025, our colleague Lars Jäger spent a six-month research stay at the CIRRELT Research Institute in Montréal, Canada, in cooperation with the Université de Montréal.
During his stay, Mr Jäger worked on asymmetric reformulations of set partitioning problems, a topic that is also at the centre of his research in Hanover. A particular focus was on the further development of branch-and-price algorithms, which represent an important research focus of CIRRELT.
We would like to thank Raf Jans and Matthieu Gruson from CIRRELT for their support and promotion of this exchange.
