Scientific Computing II

As part of the course "Scientific Computing II", the Institute of Production Management supervises several assignments each semester. These assignments deal, for example, with the implementation of discrete-event simulation models for selected service systems. The participating students have the task to familiarize themselves with the problem, to design a model for it and to implement it. Both the problem and the specifics of its implementation are to be neatly documented as part of the term paper.

Another possibility is to take "Scientific Computing II" in combination with "Operations Research II - Advanced methods of linear and integer programming". In this case, the credit points will be used for "Scientific Computing II" and "Research Project for Scientific Computing II: Branch&Price Algorithms with SCIP".
