Research Project for Scientific Computing II: Branch&Price Algorithms with SCIP

This course offers the possibility to work on all contents of the course "Operations Research II - Advanced Methods of Linear and Integer Programming" in combination with "Scientific Computing II". Therefore, the module allows an alternative way to acquire credits of the course "Operations Research II - Advanced Methods of Linear and Integer Programming" for students studying "Engineering and Business Administration".¹

Students studying "Engineering and Business Administration" have two options for receiving credits for "Operations Research II - Advanced Methods of Linear and Integer Programming."

10 ECTS in the economic area/elective area by the course "Operations Research II - Advanced Methods of Linear and Integer Programming".
5 ECTS in the economic area/elective area via "Research Project for Scientific Computing II: Branch&Price Algorithms with SCIP" and 5 ECTS via "Scientific Computing II".

Note: The module cannot be taken if credit points have already been or will be acquired via 376052 "Operations Research II - Advanced Methods of Linear and Integer Programming".
